The Fed caught everyone off guard yesterday with their half point rate cut. We have seen 30 year mortgages locked in today on primary residences in the mid-2 point range, non-owner occupied (investor) between 3.25-3.50% and a 15 year primary residence locked in at 2.25%. We don't remember ever seeing anything like thins in the last 16 years. If you don't have a lender to call, we are happy to refer you to the ones we know have the most aggressive rates and lowest cost.
